Web Portal of ASU Joins Top 100 Russian University Web Resources

On January 23, 2016, the updated 2016 University Web Ranking of the 4 International Colleges & University (4ICU) was published.

The web site of Astrakhan State University has taken the 87th position of 381 web sites of Russia’s universities. As for the world ranking, asu.edu.ru has assumed the 4, 141st position of the 11, 606 ranked university web resources in 200 countries.

4ICU is one of the best-known ranking international higher education search engines and directories; its results are of great value for the world’ system of higher education. It aims to inform the web audience how popular this or that educational institution is in the world. 4ICU publishes ranking data on university web sites twice a year – in January and in July; it considers with such rates as the number of visitors, the number of links and the significance of referring web sites, the domain citation index, the number of cross-references, and the session depth.
