Staff-Student Liaison Unit

Documents required to arrange and carry out practical training and State Final Examination

Staff-Student Liaison Unit is a subdivision of Cross-Faculty Office for Student Support that coordinates faculties and other university units which provide educational process, organizational and methodological support, students’ mobility coordination and control, organization of various types of practical training and State Final Examination under higher education programs (bachelor, specialist and master programs), certificates execution and issuance for students and their representatives.

The Unit main objectives are:

  • improving normative documents regulating educational process;
  • providing organizational and methodological support, students’ mobility coordination and control;
  • preparing reports on educational programs and process realization in the university;
  • providing students with information inquiry support with regard to educational process issues;
  • planning and arranging all types of practical trainings in accordance with curricula for bachelor, specialist, master programs under all the modes of study;
  • improving the process of organizing and holding State Final Examination for bachelor, specialist, master programs under all the modes of study.

The Unit main functions:

  • arranging students’ transfer and reinstatement, providing activity of the university commission on the students’ transfer and reinstatement;
  • drafting, coordinating and issuing orders on the students as far as the university educational process support is concerned;
  • accepting applications and considering them within the scope of the unit competence;
  • executing and issuing certificates to the students and their representatives;
  • organizing faculties and chairs work on timely preparation of documents with regard to the students’ State Final Examination;
  • developing scheduled plans on preparing and carrying out all kinds of practical training for students jointly with the faculties and the unit responsible for educational process planning and realization;
  • assisting students in case of signing individual (short-term) agreements on practical training (in the form of practice);
  • assisting faculties in signing long-term agreements on practical training (in the form of practice);
  • developing local regulations and recommendations covering the university learning and teaching activity on the basis of normative documents (Law “On Education in the Russian Federation”, federal state educational standards, decrees of the RF Government and orders of the federal educational authorities);
  • preparing and submitting information in response to higher educational authorities requests, informing faculties and other university subdivisions of the regulatory authorities decisions;
  • providing documentation and methodological support for all the kinds of practical training and State Final Examination and timely informing faculties and chairs of the documentation and regulatory basis changes;
  • keeping database records on the relevant organizations cooperating with the university on the students’ practical training issues;
  • monitoring the students’ mobility, academic progress and graduation;
  • monitoring documentation for all the kinds of practical training and State Final Examination;
  • analyzing progress and results of the students’ interim assessment and current performance;
  • analyzing and keeping accounts in the field of arrangement and implementation of the university practical training in order to improve efficiency of their application in educational process;
  • analyzing the results of the students’ State Final examination.
