V. N. Tatishchev Astrakhan State University informs that from November 20 starts training on a new programme of professional retraining.

Professional retraining programme "Technical translation of documentation on the profile of professional activity".
The programme "Technical translation of documents in the field of professional activity" is mainly aimed at students of engineering specialities.

As a result of the training, graduates of the program will develop competencies necessary for a new type of professional activity in the field of technical text translation within their area of specialization. The training is focused on the practical application of translation knowledge for instructions, patents, technical passports, drawings, technical standards, technical descriptions, and rules for working with technical text.

It is especially valuable that mastering technical translation on a professional level, the university students - future engineers will be in great demand among the largest industrial companies represented both in our region and abroad. New career prospects in the largest world-class companies are opening up for the students.

The group discussion of modern cases will allow them to immerse themselves in the specifics of a translator, helping them to achieve the result expected by employers, namely a concise, accurate and unemotional translation in accordance with grammatical norms - standards.

The year 2023 was particularly productive for professional retraining. More than 1,100 students enrolled in higher education programmes chose this path to improve their professional skills.
