The ECA movement has launched a new career guidance quest "Green Horizons" for students of Russian secondary specialised educational institutions. Its participants will learn about green construction, eco-education, event organisation, design, social entrepreneurship, "green" tourism, restaurant business and media promotion, as well as compile a CV that can be seen by "green" employers.

Students of the Astrakhan region's colleges and universities will be able to gain experience in the "green" sphere
The quest will help students decide on their future field of activity, show them how environmental activities are organised and what tasks "green" specialists deal with. The participants will try on the role of eco-volunteers, event managers, designers, start-ups. Students will learn how to manage their own small project, work with a team and negotiate. And within the framework of the "Day of Self-Governance" they will even be able to swap places with teachers and conduct an ecological lesson in their school.

The quest consists of 15 tasks. By performing them, students will get practical "green" skills. For example, they will examine the building of their school for environmental friendliness, invent their own merchandise inspiring to help nature, get acquainted with the practice of greening and write a CV if they wish. It will be placed on the portal for "green" companies that are ready to invite students for internships, part-time or permanent jobs.

To participate in the quest, teachers need to register one or more teams of 3 to 10 people on the website. They will perform tasks and send reports. The 10 teams with the most points will be the winners and will receive prizes and diplomas.

The project is implemented with the support of "Rosmolodezh. Grants".

Registration for the quest is available on the website.
