March 15, 2024 is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yuri Bondarev, the acknowledged classic of Russian literature.

Bondarev's works, which became programme works in the literature about the Great Patriotic War, are especially relevant nowadays. His books about the heroism of the people in those difficult years affirm the precepts of duty and honour, spirituality and morality.

On his scripts and literary works were filmed feature films: "Liberation", "Hot Snow" and others. Yuri Bondarev's books were published in millions of copies and were translated into 85 languages of the world. The writer's work laid the foundation for a special literary trend - "lieutenant prose", which presented different facets of the writer's talent.

The exhibition in the reading room of the library and publishing complex of ASU presents the works of Yuri Bondarev and studies of his work. You can get acquainted with the exhibition until 22 March.
