ASU First-Year Students Compete in Speed and Erudition
The ASU Trade Union held a traditional competition for the newly fledged students to identify their leadership skills and teambuilding. This year, the “Trade Union Patrol” has been organized in the form of a pedestrian quest.
The urban multidiscipline event consisted in eight different levels, including tasks on attention, logic, erudition and speed of movement. The first-year students looked for codes across the university park, guessed songs and films, made words, connected with student life, solved puzzles and charades.
“Of course, this event, which acquaints the students with the trade union, is very important for us. It’s a starting point for active coordinated work with the new students. Moreover, it was very important to hold it after the long period of lockdown. It energized both the freshers and us for further achievements of the trade union. We were glad to see the happy smiles on participants’ faces during and after the game,” said quest organizer Gleb Galushkin.
