Students of Astrakhan State University Won UMNIK Grants

On November 6, the directorate of the Innovation Support Foundation approved a list of the winners of competition “UMNIK — Digital Russia” within federal project “Digital Economy HR” of national programme “Digital Economy of Russia”.
Upon the selection results, three students of ASU will get 500 thousand RUB each for implementation of their innovative projects. These are:
- “Developing an automated hardware and software system for detection of defects of serially-produced articles and their grading (Emir Vildanov, Faculty of Physics, Mathematics & Engineering, Center of Viable Technologies in Electronics & Robotics);
- “Developing an automated hardware and software system for an unmanned aerial vehicle to search people in forests with a system of audiovisual image recognition” (Amit Dusaliev, Faculty of Physics, Mathematics & Engineering, project supervisor — Aleksey Rybakov);
- “Developing a robotic plotter system with material contour recognition” (Vladlen Polyansky, Faculty of Digital Technologies & Cybersecurity, project supervisor — Dmitry Starov).
UMNIK is one of the most prestigious Russian grants for young scientists that work in the sphere of innovations.
