ASU Joins Interuniversity Association of Additional Education for Children
The Center for the Development of Modern Competences for Schoolchildren of Astrakhan State University has entered the interregional intellectual consortium “Houses of Scientific Collaboration: Science, Education, Human Resources”.
22 leading universities of Russia have united in the consortium, yesterday Rector of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov also signed the agreement.
The main task of the consortium is to establish a system of additional education, taking into account the trends of scientific and technological development. Thus, within the framework of the association, it is planned to integrate the innovative potential of large organizations, jointly implement educational activities and programmes for schoolchildren, develop and implement joint research and practice-oriented projects with the involvement of leading scientists and young researchers.
According to Head of the ASU Center for the Development of Modern Competences for Schoolchildren Daniil Matveev, joining the consortium will allow the university to implement modern educational activities and programmes for schoolchildren throughout Russia together with other universities, and take part in the development of common research and practice-oriented projects with the involvement of leading scientists and young researchers.
