ASU Continues to Increase Cooperation with Educational Organizations of Uzbekistan

Representatives of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University discussed ways of joint academic work with colleagues from the Urgench branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.

At the online meeting, ASU was represented by Vice Rector for International Affairs Angelina Fadina, Vice Rector for Research Activities Lyudmila Baeva, Vice Rector for Educational Activities Aleksandr Treshchev, Director of the Department of Community Development & Initiative Promotion Vyacheslav Rybakin, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics & Engineering Technologies Nikolay Vybornov and Deputy Dean Faculty of Digital Technologies & Cybersecurity Alesya Merkulova.

Colleagues from Uzbekistan spoke about the activities of the Urgench branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, about the innovation center, laboratories and learning conditions in the branch, and also put forward a number of initiatives that found support among representatives of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University.

Both parties are interested in opening new academic programmes for students, double-degree programmes, as well as in the exchange of students, teachers, conducting joint research, and preparing publications.

At the end of the meeting, the colleagues exchanged their contact details and decided to organize close cooperation in the outlined areas.
