Rector of ASU Highlights Relevant Training Areas of Higher Education

Astrakhan Tatishchev State University has hosted a meeting of school teachers from Narimanovsky, Kamyzyaksky, and Ikryaninsky districts with Konstantin Markelov, Rector of the university, and Aleksander Treshchev, Vice Rector for Educational Activities. During the meeting, teachers received answers to questions about higher and vocational secondary education.

“The university provides opportunities for young specialists to get skilled in relevant training areas: marine robotics, agricultural industry, social and information security of the regions. Each ASU student becomes a worthy candidate in the labor market, and employer-sponsored education provides an opportunity to be employed right after graduation,” emphasized ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov.

The head of the university noted that such meetings with schoolteachers of Astrakhan Region are held on a regular basis, as the university is improving areas related to the professional training of teachers every year.

Aleksandr Treshchev, Vice Rector for Educational Activities, spoke about the admission procedure for the current year and showed the teachers to the internal structure and technologies of the university.

The teachers visited the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation and the scientific laboratories of ASU.
