ASU Rector Speaks at the International Economic Forum of the CIS Member States
The head of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University Konstantin Markelov has presented his report at the section “International Logistics. Opportunities. Support Measures. Development Prospects”, where he spoke about the university’s experience in this field.
The International Economic Forum of the CIS Member States Dialogue of Integrations: CIS, EAEU, SCO, BRICS is attended by members of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States, executive staff of the Ministries of Economic Development, Finance, Industry and Trade, representatives of authorities, chambers of commerce, industry associations and banking communities, as well as entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the event, Konstantin Markelov talked about the project Digital Platform of the International North-South Transport Corridor, which is being implemented at Astrakhan Tatishchev State University within the framework of the joint strategic project Technocaspian of the Priority 2030 program.
For instance, the Rector of ASU identified a number of issues that stop the international transport corridor from working as a single well-coordinated mechanism at the present stage.
As part of his speech, Konstantin Markelov also presented the experience of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University in training personnel of the transport and logistics sphere.
The final topic in the rector’s report of was the work of the Transport and Logistics Consortium of Caspian Higher Educational Institutions. The head of the university told the audience about the tasks the association has.
