ASU will celebrate the Day of Knowledge

On the 1st of September the Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev will hold a number of events dedicated to this state holiday.

At 8:30 there will be a solemn exit of the banner group "Cossack Hundred" of ASU, after which the flag-raising ceremony and singing of the anthem of the Russian Federation are planned on the platform in front of the main building.

At the summer stage near the annex there will be an interactive platform "Freshers" Day". It will acquaint new students with the achievements of our university in various fields: science, culture, creativity, volunteerism, sports. Already from the first day the freshmen will be able to find a business with which they will want to connect their studies. The platform will work in two streams:

from 9:00 to 10:00;

10:30 to 11:30.

The presentation of the fourth series of portraits of honorary professors will take place from 12:00 to 12:30 on the 2nd floor of the main building of the university.

At 13:00 in the "Boiling Point" ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov will talk about the university, opportunities that open to freshmen and successful graduates. And for the most active and fiery at 19:00 a disco will be organised on the summer platform.
