“That’s a Really Essential & Necessary Program for Modern Managers”

Mr. Sevostyanov, an oncologist of the Astrakhan Regional Oncologic Dispensary, has shared his impressions of impressions of his covering the Presidential Program “Efficient Healthcare Management: Training of Result-Oriented Management Teams for Regional Healthcare System” that is delivered at Astrakhan State University.

“I got only positive emotions and impressions while I studied there. At first, I didn’t even imagine how much a manager must know to become a really efficient manager. I got a lot of new and interesting information, although some disciplines were difficult for me to perceive and understand, but, as they say, through hardship to the stars…

I think one can’t become a professional right at once; only experience can make you a professional. When I studied, I got pleasant impressions with my peers who also work in the healthcare sphere, as well as with our instructors. I hope we’ll keep in touch to work together efficiently.

The defense of our final projects passed at a high level: all the trainees demonstrated excellent knowledge; they could apply their knowledge and skills at the level of an efficient manager; I’d like to say a lot of thanks to our instructors for that. Right since the very first days of our studies, our instructors united us; they taught us to work as a single team to carry out joint tasks and projects. As for me, another week of studies was a splendid chance to talk with interesting and competent people – our instructors and my peers.

Now I’ll try to use the management skills and knowledge I got there at my current work, especially the knowledge that’s necessary for efficient HR management, because efficient application of human resources determines performance of a whole unit, as well as overall success of a company.

I’d advise new trainees of the Presidential Program to treat the educational process in earnest. I’d wish them success and good patience while they’re mastering disciplines. I wish them good luck in all they’re planning.

I wish the nine months of studies hadn’t passed away so quickly. That’s a really essential & necessary program for modern managers.

Many thanks to all the instructors of the Presidential Program, and special thanks to Tatyana Mordasova, my research supervisor! May fortune favor you always and everywhere!”
