ASU Becomes Dancing Site for Four Days

The 11th Festival of Socialization Projects dedicated to dancing has taken place at Astrakhan State University.

Each Department prepared its individual scene number. Disco, waltz, tango, country, rock'n'roll, and many other genres were presented on the scene. Our students staged real plays, moving the audience either to a western cowboy setting, or to a narrow street of a Turkish town. That was real teamwork: the young people were not just dancers; they were also presenters, actors and actresses, lighters, and make-up specialists. They created real art and deserved their grateful audience’s applauses. The house was full: the audience included the performers’ friends, relatives, colleagues and peers, professors, and the University administration.

The project is to be over on April 27.
