Researchers of ASU Obtain Patent to Treat Locomotorium Disorders

The Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) has issued a patent to Professor Galina Palatkina (Dean of the Department of Pedagogics & Social Work of Astrakhan State University) and Mr. Rolan Suyunbaev (a student covering a master program at the same Department).

The two inventors have patented their invention “Multifunctional Apparatus Applying Rubber Tourniquets”. The device is applied to treat pain in backs and joints and prevent locomotorium disorders. Thanks to its simple construction, the apparatus also helps reduce load on spine and normalize processes in the whole body.
