Students of the Znamensk Branch of Astrakhan State University Wish Children with Special Needs a Happy New Year

On New Year’s Eve, students of the Znamensk Branch of Astrakhan State University participated in a colourful celebration in the Society of Disabled Persons.

It has become a good tradition for the Znamensk Branch of ASU to participate in life of the society of persons with special health needs. For example, in early December students gave a basket of cute teddy bears to the society children as a gift. The volunteers made the toys at master classes, which they organized themselves too.

The volunteers organized a new Year celebration for children with special health needs. A cheerful host, charming Snow Maiden and wonderful Father Frost helped the children spend their time interestingly and positively.

The children were congratulated by Roman Kozyrkov, the Director of the ASU Branch in Znamenk, as well as Yuri Kolesnikov, the Deputy Head of the Closed Administrative-Territorial Entity “Znamensk”, Colonel Sergey Gizatulin, the Deputy Head of the State Central Joint Force Range for the Military Personnel of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Andrey Antonov, a deputy of the Znamensk Council, and Viktor Karavaev, the President of the Council of Veterans. And, of course, it would also have been impossible to hold the celebration without Lyubov Duyunova, the Head of the Society of Disabled Persons, her energy and unlimited desire to help.
