Italy-Russia Master Class at Astrakhan State University

Associate Professor of the ASU Department of Romanic Philology Alina Kunusova and the University of Siena, Italy, timed the event, dedicated to the issues of technical translation, to the European Day of Languages.

Alfiya Musyakaeva, who graduated from the ASU Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation and now is a translator and interpreter at NIPIGAZ company (SIBUR Group), Moscow, was the main speaker of the event.

A lively conversation in Russian, Italian and English involved both foreign and Astrakhan students, including second-year students of the major “Translation/Interpreting and Translation Studies (Italian Language)” Daria Gornostaeva and Alisiya Sykhanova.

“I hope that such meetings, which are really very important, will be continued and will be as fruitful as it was today,” said Alina Kunusova.
