Representatives of ASU and Industrial Trade Union Discuss Issues of Student Employment

Head of the Engineering Project Office of Astrakhan State University Aleksey Titov has met with Chairman of the Interregional Trade Union of Industrial, Transport and Service Workers Vladimir Bosov. The discussion focused on career-guidance events for ASU students, who are going to be employed at mechanical engineering enterprises in the future.

Vladimir Bosov stressed the importance of close cooperation between ASU professors and the Trade Union because it favours formation of a students’ positive attitude to their future professional activities and motivates them for constant improvement of their own competences.

Aleksey Titov noted that the cooperation between ASU and the Interregional Trade Union of Industrial, Transport and Service Workers has always been fruitful: for example, it contributed in renewal of educational cooperation between our university and shipbuilding enterprises of the region.

The discussion on current issues of concern, which took place at ASU, also involved chief administrator of the Engineering Project Office Kseniya Bondarenko, Director of the Caspian Higher Engineering School Svetlana Panarina, Director of the Engineering Centre Akim Pavlov and Chief of the Legal Support Unit of the Center of Technologies Transfer Svetlana Sinitsina.
