Scientist of Astrakhan State University Dwells on Issues of AI Technology Development in Our University

Head of the ASU Artificial Intelligence Project Office Aleksandr Koshkarov spoke about the action plan of his unit for 2021 and presented their roadmap at a meeting of the Academic Council on February, 8.

In particular, Aleksandr Koshkarov stressed the main points of growth of the project office and outlined the major events that will help achieve the necessary results.

The main stages of the project office’s development are:

• a financial cybersecurity project within the Caspian SEC;
• participation in grant projects;
• work on current and potential projects, including in cooperation with other units of the university;
• educational events.

As for the educational activities, Aleksandr Koshkarov focused attention on the Data Debates project.

ASU Vice Rector for Research Activities Anna Fedotova also suggested that the unit held sociological studies, based on big data, in our university.

Besides, Aleksandr Koshkarov highlighted the importance of keeping pace with global tendencies.
