Young Intellectuals Are Honored at Astrakhan State University

An official ceremony of awarding the winners of the ASU student championship in the sports version of game “What? Where? When?” took place on March, 12.

Mentor of the student intellectual club Igor Guzhvin noted that Astrakhan State University is the only higher educational institution in the region that supports the functioning of the intellectual movement. In addition, he spoke about plans for this year.

“We are going to host two events. The first is the Brain Ring tournament, which will involve teams of the faculties. This is a joint project with the ASU Media, so there’ll be interesting video materials. The second event is a walking quest, since we can think intellectually not only while sitting on a chair at the table but also while in motion. Announcements will be published very soon, and we are waiting for all of you at our events,” said Igor Guzhvin.

Rector Konstantin Markelov noted that game “What? Where? When?” helps to develop, advance and become better.

All the teams received well-deserved awards, and the winners were awarded certificates, cups, medals, intellectual board game “What? Where? When?” and book “Supercount for Superbrain”.
