ASU Students Are Invited to Study Online at Japanese University

The KU-EOL programme at Kansai University was initiated during the pandemic as a tool to overcome this situation. Its main goal is to maintain cultural and linguistic exchange between universities of different countries and Japan.

Participation in the programme will help learn about the studies at the Japanese university, listen to lectures by foreign professors and make new friends.

  • Students are offered courses on the following topics:
  • Information and Communication Technologies;
  • Business and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
  • Postwar Pop Culture of Japan;
  • Japanese Culture of Behavior at Work and in Society;
  • Sociology in the Global World;
  • Methods of Comparative Analysis (on the Example of English and Japanese Languages);
  • Contemporary Gender Studies;
  • Critical Thinking in Social and Global Issues;
  • Research Methods in the Humanities;
  • History and Culture of Medieval Japan.

All lectures will be held in English.

Students of any faculty and specialty can take part in the programme. The course is free of charge for representatives of Astrakhan State University. Participants will receive personal certificates upon completion of the course.

The programme will last from May, 20 to July, 21. Applications must be submitted by March, 31.
