Astrakhan State University Discusses Issues of Adapted Physical Education

The ASU Faculty of Physical Training & Sports has held international scientific and practical conference “Development of Methods and Innovations in Physical Education and Sports”.

The scientific event was attended by professors of Astrakhan State University, Astrakhan State Medical University, RANEPA Volgograd Institute of Management, Palessie State University, Belarus, and Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Reports were also made by students of the ASU Faculty of Physical Training & Sports and students from Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan — more than 30 people in total.

The conference programme included the following sections:

• Scientific, methodological and practical research in the field of adapted physical education;
• Theoretical and practical research in the field of adapted physical education;
• Trends in the development of recreational physical training and grassroots sports in universities.

The event will result in publication of conference proceedings.
