ASU Students Enrich Their Knowledge in Political PR
Experts-to-be in advertising and public relations have discussed modern electoral technologies with the chairman of the Astrakhan electoral commission within the framework of the celebration of the Young Voter Day.
Advertising and public relations students of the ASU Law Faculty participated in a polemical conversation on topic “Elections and Technologies: Morality and Politics. Compatibility and Compromise”. The event was aimed at expanding knowledge in the field of political advertising and PR and in the technologies for conducting modern election campaigns, and at increasing the activism and civic responsibility of young people.
The meeting was organized by the regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Election Commission of Astrakhan region, as well as the Library named after N.K. Krupskaya. The main speaker was Chair of the regional Election Committee Vladimir Zolotokopov.
The students made reports on topical issues of organizing and conducting election campaigns, discussed the ethical and legal specifics of electoral processes and took part in an interesting issue-related game.
