Konstantin Markelov Takes Part in Panel Discussion at SPIEF

The rector of Astrakhan State University and his colleagues discussed issues of science and technology in the regions and the creation of world-class research and educational centers which will become drivers of the development of the regional economy.

Konstantin Markelov took part in a discussion of topical issues during panel discussion “World-class research and educational centers as drivers of the development of the regional economy on the example of Engineering of the Future”.

At the event, the ASU rector had a talk with President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Aleksandr Sergeev. In should be recalled that the academician commended the developments of the ASU scientists at international forum “Caspian Region 2021: Sustainable Development Trajectories” which was held on May 26-28 in Astrakhan.

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rector of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov also met with Rector of the University 20.35 Nina Yanykina. The colleagues discussed possibilities of cooperation and participation in joint projects.

The St. Petersburg forum also provided a platform for communication between representatives of the public authorities: Konstantin Markelov and Governor of Samara Region Dmitry Azarov exchanged ideas on regional development.
