ASU Engineer Is a Member of IKBFU Floating University
Mikhail Gladyshev, a Master’s degree student of Astrakhan State University and a staff member of the ASU Shared Knowledge Center of Viable Technologies in Electronics & Robotics is taking part in the 4th international summer school “Sea Coastal Area: Research, Management and Prospects”.
The school is organized by the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and the Atlantic Branch of the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Mikhail will have a two-week voyage on the Akademik Sergei Vavilov ship in the Baltic Sea.
The work of the summer school is focused on the study of the condition of the Baltic ecosystem and issues of marine nature management. Participants will be able to carry out integrated field research and attend lectures and master classes, delivered by leading foreign and Russian scientists in the field of marine biology, ecology, hydrology, geology, geochemistry and geophysics.
The bonus programme of the Floating University includes practical exercises in the ship laboratories and a youth session, where participants will have the opportunity to present the first results of their research and get acquainted with the developments of their young colleagues.
