ASU CITS Students Translated 4,000 Terms for Rospatent
Master’s degree students Aleksandra Dyulyukova and Yulia Goverdovskaya worked with English-language terminology in such diverse areas as cosmetology, chemicals and dyes, machines, machine tools, engines, scientific and research geodetic, optical devices and instruments.
The results of the activities of the Astrakhan translators will be used for the Russian-language version of the Goods & Services Manager of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
The Federal Institute of Industrial Property expressed their gratitude to ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov, Director of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation Ulyana Savelieva, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Nadezhda Emelianova and Head of the Department of English Philology Elena Ilova for the prompt and competent organization of translation of the English terms by the students.
According to Director of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property Oleg Neretin, the ASU CITS students were scrupulous about both the translation process and the subsequent editing of the terms, and completed their work to the highest standard and on time.
