ASU Rector Sends His Greetings to Professors and Students on Knowledge Day

In honor of the beginning of the new academic year, Konstantin Markelov addressed the staff of Astrakhan State University with a pep talk.

The 1st of September is a real holiday for everyone who gets acquainted with new knowledge, skills and abilities. It is always an exciting event for students, professors and freshers — those for whom a new stage in life begins today. You are lucky to become students of the largest scientific and educational center of Southern Russia which has a rich history and traditions.

Today is our common holiday, because knowledge is the basis of any business and any profession.
