ASU Enters Moscow International Ranking of Universities “Three University Missions”

The results of the fifth issue of ranking were announced at an open meeting of the Council of the Russian Union of Rectors. Astrakhan State University has become the only higher educational institution of our region included in the global ranking.

In 2021, the number of universities represented in the Three University Missions global ranking has increased from 1500 to 1650. It is the most representative ranking of the world by this parameter. The list includes higher educational institutions from 97 countries of the world, including 112 Russian universities from 39 constituent entities of Russia.

According to the ranking results, Astrakhan State University — the only one of the Astrakhan universities represented in the ranking — took the following positions:

• in the interval group 1501-1650 in the world ranking;
• in the interval group 87–112 among Russian universities.
