Isak Froumin Holds Expert Seminar at ASU
The scientific director of the Institute of Education of the Higher School of Economics spoke at expert seminar “Challenges and Trajectories of University Development until 2030” held at the Boiling Point Center as part of the Moscow delegation’s visit to Astrakhan State University.
The event, dedicated to modern trends in the development of higher education, involved representatives of the administration of ASU and the Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
The scientific director of the HSE Institute of Education told the audience about the changes that are currently taking place in higher education system in Russia and worldwide.
According to the speaker, the main trend that is changing higher education is its massification. The HSE representative also noted that the primary task for universities is to make a decision on a development model — a homogeneous research university or a large flagship university.
