Astrakhan State University Joins MFA Russia Flashmob

ASU students and staff members of the UNESCO Chair “Learning Society and Human Sustainable Development”, headed by Rector Konstantin Markelov, have taken part in a global campaign on the anniversary of the entry into force of the UN Charter, aimed to support the key role of the UN in international relations.

In their video messages, ASU students focused on the importance of observing the provisions of the UN Charter and developing friendly relations between peoples, of the youth policy and achieving sustainable development goals, thereby reflecting the uniqueness of the United Nations as a platform for multilateral cooperation between countries.

The start of the internet campaign in support of the key role of the UN in international relations was given by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov during his speech at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
