ASU Project Will Help Systematize the North-South Transport Corridor Logistics
Astrakhan State University has summed up the first results of the work on the Priority 2030 strategic project which includes creation of a digital platform of the transport corridor.
The objective of the university initiative is to introduce digital technologies for managing transport and logistics processes. Head of the strategic project Aleksey Rybakov, who is the Director of the ASU Institute of Physics and Mathematics, summed up the results of the KPIs, spoke about the opening of new educational programmes and laboratories, and also told the audience about the product line developed within the framework of the project.
A team of young researchers was formed back in 2021, and now it includes 20 people, but will soon be expanded to 50. In addition, a Smart Logistic scientific and educational laboratory was created within the framework of the project; its equipment allows to simulate various logistics operations, increase computing performance, and also write programmes.
2022 will see implementation of new programmes; in particular, these are areas of additional education, training courses on software and tools for Python and Anylogic, as well as courses on studying the operation of automated warehouses.
