ASU and KalmSU Agree to Cooperate in Priority 2030 Programme
During their visit to Astrakhan State University, members of the delegation of Kalmyk State University named after B. B. Gorodovikov got acquainted with the scientific and educational potential of the partner university and outlined new areas of cooperation.
According to ASU First Vice-Rector — Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Elina Polyanskaya, the purpose of the colleagues’ visit is to learn about the best practices of Astrakhan State University in various fields, exchange views, learn from the experience and share their best practices.
The guests from Elista took part in the work in sections according to their professional interests, meetings with employees of the ASU key structural divisions. Colleagues discussed the implementation of new formats for training students in the framework of project-based learning and the prospects for commercialization of innovative activities, shared their experience in implementing network programmes and design, learnt about the best practices of educational and career guidance work of Astrakhan State University. In addition, representatives of KalmSU studied the key aspects of the digital transformation of the university, the experience of the official Internet website of ASU and outlined the prospects for networking with the Institute of Physics and Mathematics and the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies.
The delegation also visited the laboratories of Astrakhan State University that implement the Priority 2030 programme. The guests learned more about the five strategic projects of ASU during their presentation by the project leaders.
The scientists of Kalmyk State University studied the information provided to them and proposed their colleagues from ASU a number of additional areas in which they could organize joint work.
Summing up the results of the visit, Head of the delegation, Rector of the Kalmyk State University Badma Salaev thanked the Astrakhan colleagues for their openness, willingness to share information and readiness to get involved in joint projects.
