New Horizons Forum Starts at Astrakhan State University

The Russian Society of Knowledge has prepared a series of lectures for ASU students on the topic of new opportunities. Meetings of students with experts in various fields of education and opinion leaders were held all day long at different sites of the university.

A welcoming speech was also delivered by Rector of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov.

The introductory lecture on the prospects and achievements of Russia on the global stage was delivered by Head of the Department for Implementation of Educational Activities of the Digital Region autonomous non-profit organization and Head of the Electronic University of the Government of Ryazan Region Olesya Lipina.

Then the forum participants could choose one of the educational tracks to participate in — New Opportunities, Russia in the World, and Being Together. They listened to the opinions of authoritative experts on the most pressing topics — sustainable consumption, ways to deal with stress, new business opportunities and prospects for professional development. The programme of the New Horizons forum concluded with a general lecture “Strength in Unity: Uniting Peoples in Hard Times”.
