Astrakhan State University Expands Areas of Cooperation with VTB Bank

A bilateral cooperation agreement was signed during a working visit of VTB Board Member Yuri Andresov and VTB Executive Manager for Astrakhan Region Fedor Lobanov to Astrakhan Tatishchev State University.

The guests made a tour of the university, accompanied by Vice-Rector for Economics and Finances Ruslan Khusainov. Colleagues from VTB visited the Boiling Point center, examined the new building of the university and got acquainted with the laboratory complex.

Participants of working meeting, held in the office of ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov, discussed the areas of promising cooperation between the university and the bank. In particular, the meeting participants discussed the joining of Astrakhan State University to the VTB salary project, prospects for the development of educational lending, an endowment fund development programme, as well as the joint participation of the financial institution and the university in implementing major infrastructure projects at regional level.

In their turn, Yuri Andresov and Fedor Lobanov commended the scientific and educational capabilities of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University and prospects for cooperation with the university.

At the end of the working meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement.
