ASU Representatives Visit the Consulate of Turkmenistan

Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Astrakhan State University Angelina Fadina and Head of the Directorate for International Activities Ekaterina Shatokhina have met with the Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan Nury Golliev.

During the business visit, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between Astrakhan Tatishchev State University and educational and scientific organizations of Turkmenistan and development of bilateral academic cooperation with existing and potential partners. The meeting participants touched upon the issues of sociocultural adaptation of foreign students, in which the consulate of the friendly country provides comprehensive assistance.

To date, ASU has established cooperation with the Turkmen State University named for Magtymguly and the Pushkin Turkmen-Russian secondary school within the framework of the joint roadmap.

In the near future, Nury Golliev is going to visit ASU to get acquainted with the infrastructure of the university and meet with the citizens of Turkmenistan studying at ASU.
