Caspian Scientific and Technological Platform as a Tool for Development of the Educational Cooperation: ASU Groundwork
As part of the participation in the Russian-Turkmen business forum, Angelina Fadina, Vice Rector for International Activities of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University, spoke about the developments, the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation with educational and scientific organizations of Turkmenistan.
The round table “Russian-Turkmen Cooperation in Education” was chaired by Gurbangul Atayeva, the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, and Elena Gorozhankina, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
In order to discuss the prospects for the development of cooperation, following the results of the round table, meetings were held between the vice rector for international activities and rectors.
A roadmap for cooperation was agreed with Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, the head of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, and bilateral intentions to implement new projects were confirmed.
In addition, Angelina Fadina met with Allaberdi Gapurov, the Rector of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, and Esen Aydogdyev, the Rector of the International University for the Humanities and Development, which gave an opportunity to exchange contacts and discuss possible ways to develop cooperation.
Representatives of universities noted the high level of involvement of ASU in cooperation with educational organizations of Turkmenistan and expressed interest in participating in the international events planned by Astrakhan Tatishchev State University: the Caspian Festival of Startup Projects and the Caspian Festival of Robotics.
