Konstantin Markelov: “Today Is the Time of Great Challenges Which Open up New Opportunities for Us”

Rector of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University has spoken at the International Conference SMART TECHNOLOGIES FOR SOCIETY, GOVERNMENT, ECONOMY and summed up the results of the Transport and Logistics Consortium of Caspian Higher Educational Institutions in 2022.

Today the moderating session “2035 Development Strategy of the Transport and Logistics Consortium of Caspian Higher Educational Institutions” has been held at the Southern Federal University, where Konstantin Markelov made a report on the results of the consortium’s activity. The head of ASU told about the important all-Russian and international conferences and forums that were organized and conducted by the member universities of the consortium. All of them are aimed at identifying problems in the development of the transport and logistics hub.

At the general meeting, additional changes in the activities of the strategic partners of the consortium were approved. This is due to the fact that universities of the friendly countries, in particular the Republic of Belarus, also express their interest in the consortium’s activities.

An important item on the agenda was the reelection of the consortium president. It was unanimously decided that Astrakhan Tatishchev State University represented by Rector Konstantin Markelov would continue to run the consortium. It was also unanimously decided that the League of High School Teachers would join the consortium as well.
