ASU Rector Participates in Meeting on Training HR for INSTC Development

Representatives of Dagestan universities subordinate to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, as well as educational institutions that are part of the Transport and Logistics Consortium of Caspian Higher Educational Institutions, coordinated by Head of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University Konstantin Markelov, have met with Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov.

The meeting considered the state of training logistics specialists in Russian universities. The participants discussed proposals regarding networking and listened to reports.

Rector Konstantin Markelov spoke at the meeting about the logistics projects that are implemented at the university.

Rector of ASU also spoke about the international forum Transport Logistics of the Caspian Region 2023, which is to be held on April 26-27 in Astrakhan . Besides, an expert session will be held on April 25 at Astrakhan Tatishchev State University as part of the event.

«You were right to mention that we need to hear clear business requirements. Logistics specialists of a company engaged in the North-South transport corridor project will come to the forum at ASU. We will discuss such issues as extended education and targeted training in bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s degree programs with them,» Konstantin Markelov said.

Following the meeting, all heads of universities were instructed to prepare proposals for networking and cooperation with universities for further discussion.
