ASU Holds a Virtual Scientific Conference with Representatives of TSU

A roundtable on topic «Global Issues of Modern World and Ways of Their Solution» served a platform for interaction and experience exchange between universities of the Caspian states: Astrakhan Tatishchev State University and Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

The roundtable was held to implement the strategic development plan of Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the Priority 2030 programme of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University.

Olga Oskina, Dean of the Faculty of Social Communications, gave a welcoming speech. She expressed her gratitude to TSU professors and personnel for accepting the invitation to take part in the conference, and gave the floor to Lyudmila Baeva, Vice Rector for Research Activities of ASU.

During the discussion, ASU representatives briefly introduced and summarized the activities of such units of our university as UNESCO Chair, Faculty of Social Communications, Interuniversity Expert and Analytical Center Caspian International Discussion Club, Department of Strategic Research of Eurasia, Institute for Southern Russia and Caspian Region Studies.

Upon results of the conference, it was proposed to continue cooperation and strengthen existing ties through participation in international events both in Russia and in Turkmenistan.
