ASU Researcher Will Deliver Lectures for Uzbek Students

Vladimir Kulakov, Head of the Chair of Foreign History & Regional Studies, Historical Faculty of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University, have arrived at Urgench State University (the Republic of Uzbekistan) under an academic mobility program.

Urgench State University has close ties with ASU and is interested in developing further cooperation.

Vladimir Kulakov participated in an international conference held in the Mamun University located in the neighboring city of Khiva. The newly established non-state University named after Mamun is an actively developing educational institution.

The Mamun University Rector Abidjan Khudaibergenov showed a genuine interest in developing cooperation in archeology, agriculture, IT. The parties agreed to draft a memorandum on cooperation. The Mamun University representatives will come to Astrakhan to participate in the International Forum Caspian Region 2023.
