Young Scientists of ASU Look into Future
The Practical Conference “Knowledge Management: Looking into Future” has been held at the Armory museum exhibition facility of the Astrakhan Kremlin. Its participants have presented their research projects.
The event arranged by the Agency for Youth Affairs of Astrakhan Region has been opened with a lecture given by the staff of the Russian-American Center of Education & Research operating at ASU. Its theme was “Algorithm of Project Activities”. Inna Akhunzhanova and Yulia Tomashevskaya have told about features of the teamwork method, as well as about ways to optimize project-related activities and to obtain the maximal effect from the initial input. Cher de Rossiter from Clark University (USA), who also works at ASU, has revealed secrets of successful teambuilding.
During the event, young scholars - participants of the Conference - have presented their own innovative developments to Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region. Dr. Alexey Rybakov, who chairs the Council of Young Scientists at ASU, has told about the project “World without Limited Opportunities”, whose goal is to create an adapted environment for people with special needs by means of high technologies. A number of developments in the field of rehabilitation tools, specialized vehicles, and infrastructural development have been united into a large socially significant project, which is being realized jointly with the Center of ASU’s Multimedia Content Creation, with the Rus rehabilitation Center, and the Unit of Internet Technologies of ASU. The Governor has highly assessed ASU’s achievements and wished further progress in researches and introductions of obtained results.
The project “Youth Personnel Reserve” has also been presented at the Conference; anyone could make up an online questionnaire to declare their own progress and increase their competitive advantage at the labor market.
The Conference has been finished with a vivid talk between the Governor and the young participants; relevant and interesting issues have been under consideration. After the coffee break, the participants have played a brain ring, whose theme was in direct relation to that of the Conference. The entire event has shown that Astrakhan State University faces new prospects to perform its research activities.
