Scholars & Students of ASU at National Forum of Political Scientists

Scholars and students of Astrakhan State University’s Department of Social Communications have taken part in the 1st Session of the Russian Society of Political Scientists held in the ancient Russian town of Suzdal in early July 2014.

Over 300 political scientists from 58 regions of the Russian Federation have taken part in the Session, as well as over 50 guests from 30 countries of the world. As for Astrakhan State University, it has been represented by Prof. Rafik Usmanov, by Dr. Pavel Karabuschenko, by Dr. Leonid Podvoyskiy, and by our students covering the specialty “International Relations”. Two our students (Vladimir Arbayev and Ekaterina Anisimova) have been elected Deputy Chairpersons of the Youth Organization of the Russian Society of Political Scientists at the Session.
