Rector of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia Becomes Honorary Professor of ASU

Today the rank of an Honorary Professor of Astrakhan State University has been granted to Professor Vladimir Filippov, Rector of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
According to Prof. Alexander Lunyov, Rector of ASU, “our University has been orienting at precious experience that the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia has gained, at is structure. This University is our guideline to implement programs of international cooperation”.
Our Rector has also emphasized the key role that Professor Filippov has played is transforming ASU into a classical university, which opened a lot of new opportunities for further development for us. Professor Vladimir Filippov has become the first Rector among Honorary Professors of Astrakhan State University.
