Victory Gained by Cheerleaders of ASU

Astra-Delta, the cheerleading combined team of ASU, has won the regional championship of universities and colleges that opens the competition season.

22 teams from Astrakhan Region’s most different areas have taken part in this event. In particular, there were such teams as Olympus (Nachalovo Village), Expression (Buruny Village), and Maximum (Solyanka Village). All the participants have been divided into three age groups: kids, teenagers, and adults. The youngest participants were six years old. There were four nominations: Cheer, Cheer Dance, Group Stunt, and Group Stunt Mix.

Three teams of ASU that have combined the Astra Delta university team have won the Cheer Dance and the Group Stunt Mix nominations in the adult category. They have also taken the 2nd place in the Group Stunt Mix nomination and the 3rd place in the Group Stunt nomination.
