Our Faculty Covers Retraining Program

  The professional retraining program “University Lecturer” has been completed at the Institute of Continuing Education of Astrakhan State University.

This program was initiated in 2013; it has been over after granting long-awaited diplomas to thirty faculty staff members of our University from the Department of Social Communications, the Agrarian Department, the Department of Geology & Geography, and the Law Department.

The retraining program that the 30 staff members have covered is indeed unique and crucial for mastering particular competences by those who lecture at the University, but who have no special pedagogical education.

The diplomas have been granted by Prof. Alexander Treshyov, our Vice-Rector for Academic Activities. In his welcoming speech, Prof. Treshyov has congratulated the trainees on their successful completion of their studies; he has pointed out that as our University is getting prepared for an accreditation, it is quite essential that our staff members obtain the qualification “University Lecturer”.
