Governor of Astrakhan Region Congratulates Graduates of Presidential Program
Graduates of the Presidential Program of Management Training delivered at Astrakhan State University have been granted their diplomas. They work in most different fields – education, healthcare, private business, etc. Upon their graduation, they are to cover practical training in Russia and outside it to introduce the projects that they have developed themselves while they were covering the Presidential Program.
It is the seventh straight year that the Presidential Program has been delivered at ASU; the number of people wishing to cover it is growing every year. During the intensive educational process, coaches (both reps of business structures and our faculty staff) pay special attention to practical methods of teaching: business games, business visits, trainings, and master classes.
Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region, has congratulated our graduates. He has pointed out in his speech that a reliable, united team is being created in our Region, that such a team will be able to assume responsibility for management of the regional economy and social processes.
One should remark that the Presidential Program is transformed and updated every year to meet the demands of the modern economy. In particular, Astrakhan State University is launching a new program – City Management.
After the Governor’s congratulating speech, the graduates have been granted their diplomas. It was Mr. Vitaliy Gutman (Minister of Education & Science of Astrakhan Region), Mr. Leonid Kucheruk (First Vice Minister of Economic Development of Astrakhan Region), and Prof. Galina Stefanova (First Vice Rector of ASU) who granted the long-awaited diplomas in an official setting.
Mr. Gutman has thanked Astrakhan State University for its high-quality delivery of the Presidential Program. In response, Prof. Stefanova has remarked that the most essential outcome of covering this Program is a graduate’s sped-up career.
After the official ceremony, our graduates have confessed that they regard their successful graduation as a start for their further development: “We’re very lucky, and the longer we studied, the better we realized that we need to achieve so much in our future careers”.
