Practice of Internal Programs Realization to Teach Work Methods
Modern educational standards set more and more serious requirements towards quality and process of training future professionals. ASU is rapidly renewing and enhancing its materials base, purchasing new hardware and software. How does a faculty staff member keep up with all those changes, improve educational process, and motivate students? There is only one answer to this question: to cover retraining on a permanent basis.
The Dao Toyota philosophical doctrine stipulates that staff training is one of top-priority mechanisms to improve the level of their performance. Internal programs of teaching work methods are to contribute to a prompt introduction of new performance enhancement techniques. The training seminar “Skills of Applying Interactive Technologies in Educational Process” is a good example of such a program.
This seminar aims to enhance information competencies of our faculty and support staff, to develop their skills of working with multimedia equipment. Trainees learn how to use interactive panels in their teaching activities, how to apply interactive technologies and software products to arrange their students’ teamwork.
The first training seminar was held on November 19, 2014. There was a friendly, active atmosphere at the event; the trainees have highly appreciated the contents of the program and its practical value for them. As they say, “the most essential thing is that classes are of entirely practical nature. Its theoretical aspect is minimized, so we develop our skills of using interactive panels quickly; we get really effective tools to improve the quality of educational process”.
Two other training seminars are to be delivered in December 2014.
