Excursion for Future Welders

Our first-year-students, who study welding technologies, have been on a visit to the Astraweld Company. The future welders have learnt much about advanced technologies of welding.  

They have visited the showroom of the Astraweld Company. Mr. Sergey Grikh, who works as an engineer at this company, has told his young guests about welding techniques and about various types of welding equipment. He showed them the most modern tools and devices and explained their main operational principles. As for Mr. Alexander Grishin, Director of this company, he has given a short lecture about welding.

The excursion has been arranged by Mr. Radmir Rzaev, a staff member of the Chair of Material Science & Welding Technologies of ASU. The obtained knowledge is of special value for the future specialists in welding.

That was just the first excursion of a whole series. Our students are to visit a number of top enterprises of Astrakhan Region in the short-term run.
