Festival of Socialization Projects Finished at ASU
On November 27, the last day of the Festival of Socialization Projects has been held at Astrakhan State University. Students of all our Departments have been competing in a creative contest for four days.
This Festival is one of the key events for our students. There have been such nominations as Battle of Choirs, Big Dances, and Academic Process Visualization. The Festival was held from November 24 to 27.
The first day saw performances by the Law Department, the Department of Mathematics & IT, the Historical Department, and the Department of Physics & Technology. The second day became the performance day for our natural scientists: the Agrarian, the Chemical, and the Biological Departments, as well as the Department of Geology & Geography. The third day was the stage day for the Department of Pedagogics, Social Work, and Physical Training, the Department of Architecture & Design, the Department of World Economy & Management, and the Department of Psychology. As for the final day, students of the Department of Philology & Journalism, the Department of Foreign Languages, the Department of Secondary Professional Education, the Department of Business & Economy, and the Department of Social Communication gave their performances then.
Our students’ performances have been bright and creative. The audience could watch team dancing numbers and complex choreographic staging of both modern and classical motifs. The participants of the nomination “Battle of Choirs” have applied most versatile style and motifs – classical oratories, ultrafashionable and hit compositions, jazz vocalism, etc. As for the nomination “Academic Process Visualization”, it has included the most diverse range of performances, as it was actually an experiment. As our students and their professors say, our performers’ skills are enhancing every year considerably.
The outcomes of the Festival of Socialization Projects shall be declared on December 04.
