9th Anniversary of Our Department of Pedagogics, Social Work and Physical Training

The Department of Pedagogics, Social Work and Physical Training has held a concert in honor of its upcoming 9th anniversary.

Every single year new “stars” rise on the scene, when the Department celebrates its anniversary. In particular, it is the first time that Elizabeth Alexeeva has sung a song in French, Tagir Yusupov and Regina Karimova have danced a touching tango, and Ivan Stulnev has performed a smart Russian folk dance. As for the Fusion Dance Studio, it has performed its best numbers of modern dance. Its junior group (whose smallest dancer is under 3 years old) has performed the splendid number “Before Going to Sleep”; its middle group has shown high choreographic skills; and its senior group’s dance has aroused the audience’s profound admiration. The whole event has been presented by two students of the Department – Polina Lisovaya and Vassily Nesterenko.

Elena Rozhdestvenskaya, Sergei Kalmykov, Anastasia Butyrkina, Batyrkhan Sisingaliev, Erna Drozdova, Polina Lisovaya, and Alena Basova – these are our professional vocalists who prepare smart musical numbers every year. The audience could enjoy their songs in Russian, in English, and in Kazakh. Choreographic numbers have accompanied all the vocal compositions.

Many words of warm-hearted and sincere gratitude to the faculty staff of the Department have been said at the concert. Professor Galina Palatkina, the Department Dean, has congratulated her colleagues and given a whole speech dedicated to our students and their professors.
